I can get big bags down the road for virtually pennies. I can remember choosing pistachio ice cream in a parlour in Epping. Bright green it was. Seeing as I can get hold of them again so easily I thought i would ask. Maybe in some sort of stir fry or curry? Coconut milk?
I haven't made it for a long time but my ex MIL introduced me to a great dish of roast leg of lamb with a sauce made out of pistachios, fresh mint and other goodies. It is delicious. I shall have to look up the recipe.
Will you actually use them all? I love a bargain too but have learned to restrain myself as it's only one or two of us and I used to be terrible for offers and ending up with a freezer full of things that I didn't really want much (I did use them) Anyway, I love pistachio ice cream, and I'm not an ice cream fan generally, though I'm not sure that'll be a great idea for you atm since you're already making lots of frozen treats
