Thought this will go well with the gravd lax I have relaxing in the fridge. I do so love the ugly celeriac !

I love celeriac, I have one in the kitchen but that recipe doesn't appeal to me for several reasons

First, I'm not sure that the texture of quinoa will work well with shredded celeriac, though I do plan to experiment mire with quinoa as I enjoyed it at Andi's restaurant

I won't be spoiling it with rapeseed oil :sprout:

I think 250 g of prepared celeriac will be more than 1/4 of one

But I might well make an apple and celeriac salad :D

I do sometimes put my own quantities in going by the 'eye' I don't have rapeseed but might use olive. I did as Suff has suggested in the past and toasted the quinoa first. Will assemble tomorrow when the gravd lax will be ready, although I do like the celeriac to infuse a bit with the other flavours and do not want the apple to disintegrate.

It was a good salad, I used walnut oil in the end and felt it worked well with the fish. Glad I did not make the allotted amount or we would be eating it forever!

Not sure what my local Pie & Mash shop would make of a turnip, celeriac and parsnip salad... :D

We one of our favourite yesterday. Leaves, roquefort., (or any blue cheese) cubed avacado and crispy pancetta. I add the pancetta after I have dressed the rest of the salad with a walnut oil vinegrette.

Lush Rats :chops:

I have soaked and cooked some whole spelt and plan to make some sort of salad with it tomorrow, not your trad. salad but will probably add some chick peas and some sort of dressing, chopped tomatoes and some fresh dill.
