I had no idea it had a name!

It fascinates me that people have fallen on its use with delight when we were previously advised it is not nice and that it was important that tinned beans etc be copiously rinsed. :rolleyes:.

I got the impression that she was just writing about it. It will be a new thing to lots of people, I would have thought, and that's why she's writing about it.

No, I think Felicity is saying she’s only just heard it’s in the dictionary, not that it’s a new to her ingredient

I thought I might have one as I have quite a few vegan cook books, but I don't! (The ones I have involve soya milk or cashews.) There are quite a few recipes on line, though.
