Back after a long absence! :)

Just been to Costco and returned with some 15 month aged Comté, but also one of my favourites. A Grandorge Livarot!! It's sitting ripening as I speak. :D I think that they have some Pont l'Eveque from the same source.

Comté is one of my favourites too.

I just bought husband a big book of cheeses of the world. He is on a mission to try them all (and tick them off.) However, you buy one and it's not in the book. Not a genuinely different type of cheese, I suppose.
I bought him (a?) La retorta from Waitrose last week:

"A rich, tangy Spanish cheese made with milk from a single flock of Merino sheep and rennet from globe artichoke flowers."

which i thought was rather nice. Will be in Cheeseland, aka France, next week.

Stop off at the Graindorge factory and shop in Livarot. I could stay all day. :)

That's definitely doable en route there or back, aero. It's about an hour an a half from us in the Calais direction, if we were going home. (and barely a detour, had we been going home via Caen.)

Thank you!
