Those look pretty good.
You could also serve Nigella’s cheesy feet ( but you have to make loads because adults like them with drinks) - in fact worth making in any shape

Not quite as grisley but, the Sainsburys magazine had a pull out Herta advertisement leaflet with these:

Blimey Herb, they are so life like! Not that I know anyone with fingers like that, but they are rather effective!

I sometimes make deadman's fingers to give out on Hallowe'en. They are just shortbread shaped and maked like fingers with a half an almongd coloured with red food colouring for fingernails.

The link doesn't work for me.

the link goes to the paywall for me and even though there's a free option i don't sign up to them so i haven't seen it either.
i used to make 'severed fingers, too, using the vegetarian frankfurter type sausages cut in halves, slivered almonds for nails and red food dye on the cut end and knuckle creases.

I actually find the fingers a bit grotesque. They are perhaps too realistic.

Even as an omnivore making them out of meat (I assume, as it’s a Herta sausage ad) is bit, erm, near the knuckle

I’ll get me coat

Oh the octopuses are fun, they look like something out of a Lego box, not too realistic!

When the kids were small I used to make Hotdog fingers like the one in the advert but with cream cheese as the nail bed with oozing tomato ketchup (placed under and squidged), they were grotesque but the kids loved them :sprout:

I like the octopuses too. The fingers are good but look as though someone has bitten each frankfurter which is a bit offputting!
