Saving Hollandaise

I bought some lovely asparagus last week, and decided to make hollandaise sauce to go with it.
For the first time ever, it split! I was determined not to chuck it and make a fresh batch.
I had a carton of extra thick cream, so I added a good teaspoonful to the sauce, and beat like hell.
It worked! The hollandaise (now not really correct) was saved.
It went beautifully with the asparagus.
