A. I agree, life's too short
B. Her "perfect pretzel" is not a pretzel but a bread roll, far too plump, and despite all the mucking about with soda lacks the proper dark brown shiny glaze
C. I'm not even very keen on pretzels!

she really shouldn't.

she doesn't like sourdough, she bakes other peoples recipes that end up looking the same as her's (so what's the point?) - isn't she allowed to use the photos that possibly occur in the recipe owner's books? and she needs to go and get some tips from a food stylist.
but then she's a journalist, not a trained cook.
