i've just heard of this from radio 4's 'kitchen cabinet.
it's a japanese seasoning which sounded like an interesting addition to flavour popcorn and rice, amongst other foods.
unfortunately for me it has fish in it (pretty when alive, revolting when dead - to me) but i thought it may be worth bringing to the attention of those who didn't hear the programme, have never heard of furikake before and who are near an asian supermarket and wish to try it.
