Hmmmmmmmmmmm Having thunk about it and looked at the website, I have come to the conclusion that it's the Sunday evening edition that gets repeated on Monday lunchtime, 'cos the Friday evening edition will already have been repeated on Sunday morning won't it?

And I got 6/10 for the Who Said It? Quiz ... and at this time in the morning too! :D

I'm one of those sad people who listen at lunch time and in the evening AND to the omnibus on Sunday

Ah.... mystery solved for me then :tu:

I only used to listen to the omnibus, however this took a big chunk out of Sunday mornings as I could only do the ironing, or potter in the kitchen while listening to it. I don't do ironing any more   and now try to listen in the evenings. Then if I miss one (usually Monday as I do one of my dance classes then), I can catch up Tuesday lunch time ..

Why would she leave her flipping phone lying around when she'd been making secret assignations? They killed the wrong person off when they let Nigel tumble off that roof.

I can't imagine why she left her phone around. I think she is finally beginning to realise what she is dealing with. This is going to go on and on until something big blows up. Believe me I write the scripts!!!!

Well, why does she need a mobile phone - she's got the landline, she doesn't drive now or and he's not going to let her go out of the house without him for much longer ... I bet he could rig up something so he can listen in on the landline too .... :x

Someone I knew a long time ago was in a similar relationship and she became so anxious because of the emotional bullying by her husband that she had a total breakdown following the birth of her second child .... he saw to it that she was hospitalised ... he withheld the children from her ...... she never got them back and he persuaded the children to stop seeing her because he told them that it distressed her!!!

You see, he bullied and emotionally abused them too ........... right into their adult lives ........... but he was so popular, so well-liked, such a stalwart of the village, such a wonderful head teacher ....................

My ex next door neighbour who at the time was my best friend was also in such a relationship. I can remember hearing a woman screaming "Don't hit me, don't hit me" one night and not being able to work out where the screams were coming from. The next day I mentioned it to B and she and I diligently knocked on people's doors (her suggestion)! :o to see if everyone was OK. I didn't find out until she moved up North that the husband had nearly killed her that night.

She remarried about 15 years ago and is very happy, a real career girl and totally family-oriented. However. She still looks out for the ex because " he's an old man now and having a tough time".

No. He's a creep and still has a hold on her.

I think things may be coming to a head this week as Keri Davies has tweeted that he wrote all the episodes from yesterday to Friday. He's the most senior writer and producer.

Oh yes........ I was spitting feathers !!! ;) :x

As an aside; I always picture Rosemary Leach when I hear the actress playing Lilian ... I was so sure it was her :?

Also meant to add I was surprised to see who the actor is now playing Tony .. however, the person (whose name I now can't remember) is NOTHING like how I imagine Tony :?

second edit to correct spelling/typo

Won't do much good for Helen though and I guess not for too late from people like her who don't actually realise they are being abused.

Surely if Pat has been looking after Henry he must have said something about his mummy being horrible to alert her to the root of the problems. Or has she, as someone said earlier had a complete brain transplant?
