earthmaiden went to an all girls boarding school - she may have led a sheltered life.

the phrase 'sky blue pink with yellow dots' was used in our house, too.

Clearly. We just said sky blue pink ... never heard of the dots before <innocent smilie>

I thought that the baby doll had that look of a Carry On film or On the Buses about it :P

We didn't have those when I was young, but they showed the Benny Hill show in the early evenings. ;)

No dots on our sky blue pink!

Mary Quant made a Sky Blue Pink nail polish ca. 1969, fairly standard pink shot through with a blue iridescence. Seemed very special at the time, but peeled off :lol:
