Changed circumstances

Postby Suelle » October 24th, 2017, 3:37 pm

I'm really posting this so that you understand what's happening if the content of my messages changes a bit over the coming weeks. If you read my blog you'll see a reference to my changed circumstances too, so I felt I ought to mention it here.

My OH passed away last week after a short illness, so I'm now living alone and cooking for one, which is obviously going to change my foodie outlook on things a bit!

There is so much strength here for you and so many people wanting to help you in what is going to be a very upsetting part of your life. If that help is not right just now then maybe soon depending on when you need it. I have been thinking about you all day and hoping you have a good sleep tonight because sleep is so important but when your mind is racing away it seems impossible and that makes it worse. I am no expert but will help you however I can. Lots of these

Thank you everyone! I'm coping Ok, and there's lots to do to keep me busy at the moment. As well as making funeral arrangements, there's a lot of bureaucracy and administrative work to cope with too.

And all that's on top of everyday life - cooking, cleaning, shopping and gardening.

But you're right Tezza - it can be hard to get to sleep when your mind is going round in circles. I can usually drop off Ok, but wake in the early morning and have trouble getting more sleep.
