White Ribbon Campaign

Postby TeresaFoodie » March 12th, 2018, 12:16 pm

I watched a very moving interview on TV recently with a lady promoting this campaign which strives to end male violence towards women.

Having been through what I went through a few years ago I am surprised I hadn't heard of it. I was also surprised that on my recent trip into town I saw none available and no opportunity to donate for a white ribbon. So, I bought some white ribbon to make my own, but before I had the chance, after enquiring on their website they have sent me an enamel pin badge. :tu:

Of course violence from men to women or children and vice versa does happen and should not happen! But I thought this was a campaign worth highlighting here (hope that's okay mods!).

 to anyone reading this putting up with violence. Been there, done that, worst days of my life.
