Sicily

Order yourself a latte, and a pastry (The virtual cinnamon buns are excellent today). And have a nice chat.

A lot of modern houses in the UK are built with utility rooms. Quite a few of my friends have utiity rooms.

Utility rooms are great but they usually double up as boot rooms and often have the back door leading off. I would love one but a proper laundry room as well where clean clothes could be left and the ironing board left up would be luxury!

Herbi - I think you're going to love it - even if you haven't got a bedroom door. The food and place will be wonderful.

Maybe I should give it its own thread. I don't want to hog things, but it may be interesting/useful for people thinking about hols in Italy.

I still want to go to Sicily... :)

I have a friend who goes there quite a lot (albeit on yoga holidays!) It does sound lovely.

We went about 4 years ago and absolutely loved it. The food was wonderful.

We've just booked a holiday in a place called Pizzo in Calabria for next year. Sicily was our first choice but we've decided after some research that it's somewhere we want to go when our daughter is older.
