It went over work en route. I saw moist of it on my way back from school. The children were loving it. Lots of screaming :D

It was surely very impressive but, as Mr R said, you would have expected nothing less. Thanks for the link Sue - I'll pass it on to himself.

I felt strangely emotional as they passed over. Very very low...

Not sure why.

I once stood on Druids at Brands Hatch (which is one of the high points of the track) - I was surrounded by USAF families. The Red Arrows flew into the valley in formation
Shock and awe about summed up the reaction from the crowd :D I was strangely proud

The Red Arrows used to come out to Cyprus for final rehearsals, on a couple of occasions I watched them whilst sitting on a bench near our then house. They were below me, very disconcerting.

I have just caught up with this, not having any opportunity to watch it before now … like Herbi, very emotional .. but then any pomp and circumstance makes me blubber. I couldn't help noticing that when the camera panned to Meghan, she looked as if she had no idea what was going on ;) :?

She seemed to look to Catherine for reassurance at one point in the clip I watched. They (Royal family) all seemed to be enjoying it though.

It would have been hard not to have been a bit awe-inspired.

I didn't know it was going to happen, so it took me unawares too. Flyovers usually come this way, so I didn't think it was WWIII, at least. Some of those planes were seriously big and seriously low-flying for an urban area. I think possibly collective things/gatherings generally make me overly emotional (lots of people standing around to watch and photograph with their phones.) Tour de Normandy once did the same thing. Perhaps why I avoid spectator sports.
