More Temptation - Betsy's Tea Room

Order yourself a latte, and a pastry (The virtual cinnamon buns are excellent today). And have a nice chat.

Our local nice restaurant, St James, which we have patronised over many years, has now added an extra. It will give you something to do between lunch and supper, without having to leave the premises.

Seems rather odd for a tea shop to have the last sitting at 2pm and close at 4pm!

We have got a very impatient friend who booked one for 12.30 as 'she wanted to get on'

I understand it wasn't a relaxed affair...

One of the many things I wish Id known sooner - when looking for a snack lunch in France, eschew the bar snacks and, as OH’s family do, find the boulangerie with a salon de the. Sandwiches, salads and savoury pastries :tu:

I hadn't picked up on the times. I will have words with him. He is Italian after all. :D

I would have thought 2.30pm to 5.30pm with last sitting at 4.45pm would be better.
