Moscato wine ... bargain ?

Moscato wine ... bargain ?

Postby PatsyMFagan » December 6th, 2018, 4:08 pm

I loved the blue bottle it is in and at £ 4.97 down from £9.95, thought it was a bargain... what best to accompany it please ? My plan is to save it for our Christmas meal ...

From memory Patsy, I think it may be a demi sec or slightly sweet. So either with pate to start or with Xmas pud or mince pies. I might be totally wrong as my brain is slightly addled at the moment.....

Bartenura - Provincia di Pava - 2015 I have already found out that is light and slightly sparkling. I will be taking it with me on Christmas day to cook lunch for a friend who has MS … I think this will be nice with a mince pie or two ? ;)

I think that will go with pretty much anything Moscato d’Asti will go with, there was a period in my life in which all birthday cakes came with a glass of Asti, think yours will be a little drier perhaps and less bubbly
Here are some suggestions for Moscato pairing, think it’s a good price
