getting mad an bad numbering from 1943

I know the title is bit weird. I was clipping articles in a series on food preservation from 1943 from
online newspaper archive. In 2 days the articles jumped from
#26-#32 . another series of article it took looking though 9 papers to get all 20 articles.
If the papers were going to carry an series why didn't they carry all of them.
yeh I know am probably yelling at dead people since the articles are over 70 years old.
the only good news is without online newspaper archives I would never found any of the articles
in first place. end of rant !! But thought those in UK could use a laugh. since politics
everywhere has gone nuts.

Sorry for your furstration ;)

I am, though, interested to know which archives you are using, Wargarden. I susbscribe to the Bristish Newspapwsre Archive, but really need to access some American ones, if that's what you are using. I have been using this: https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/

Thanks, Wargarden!

I was aware of Trove, but not the New Zealand one. Will investigate the US one. The one I linked to before is free but doens't have a great search function.

No, I don't think the British Newspaper Archive carries any of the big-name broadsheets. Just local titles. Gale has archives for the Telegraph and Times etc. but only available to instuitutions. It's possible that I can access them through an former university connection. I should check - I've not thought to look at them before. I assume you would like to browse rather than needing a specific look up, though?

edit: some Gale tiltes are available through local libraries in the UK.
