Setting up a Charity ....

Postby PatsyMFagan » November 6th, 2019, 3:22 pm

Does anyone on here have any experience setting up a Charity ?

We have a very young, small 'charity' in the locality, specialising in rescuing and rehabilitating wild animals (think Tiggywinkles but much smaller) .. The founder has acquired a site with a nominal charge for rent and will need voluntary donations (financial and practical) to keep going.

My initial googling has found the official government link and from that I think he needs 3 trustees, but then I got bogged down going forward …

Any information/advice will be gratefully received

Hi Patsy,

I presume you've seen this?

Hope it works out for him. Sounds like a very worthy cause... :luv:
