Lighting a candle

Order yourself a latte, and a pastry (The virtual cinnamon buns are excellent today). And have a nice chat.

Thank you very much. My husband managed to see him before the op. Apparently he was 'articulate, perceptive and humorous'. i.e very brave.

I shall light one tonight for our freind Olivier who was summoned to Picardy yetserday because his dad, younger than us, had been rushed into hospital. He got to the hospit al
5 minutes after dad had died.

Now none of the family can find his papers. A total disaster here.

Oliver does so much for other people he could do with all the support he can get right now.

I am lighting a candle tonight for a couple of friends from my craft group. M and Y are mother and daughter, Y lost her daughter N on Monday. I only found out this morning bizarrely through a work email (I get emails about searching for Wills) and I recognised the name and address,

I am lighting a candle today for one of the ladies here at work, who I found out yesterday she has a brain tumour. Not cancerous but growing. Her scan last week showed it is getting bigger quite quickly and they need to operate to remove it early next week. Due to the area where it is if left she could end up in a wheelchair unable to move. If they operate she could end up deaf. She is such a lovely bubbly person it is so sad. I wish her well and hope the outcome is good. She will be off work 3 months minimum. She just has a daughter 16 years old at home. It all started with a headache and feeling dizzy. But she didn't complain, one of the other ladies made her go to the doctor or she would never have known and well I wouldn't want to even think about what could have happened.
