Order yourself a latte, and a pastry (The virtual cinnamon buns are excellent today). And have a nice chat.

It seems people are still unaware that you have the ability to report posts like spam, or general unpleasantness (which is probably because we have so little of it):

In the top right hand side of every post (and PM) You should see this icon:

Image

If you click on this it will report the post to all mods so we can take action.

Hi Lee and anyone else who can help! I am back in using the password that Lee gave me but cannot change it because my computer will not accept automated messages! I do the business but it does not end up in my mailbox. I am so frustrated!!

Can anyone help, please.

I hesitate to pre-empt a message from people with more expertise, but if your computer will not accept automated messages, you either need to keep the password you were given by Lee (write it down if it's difficult to remember - who would want to 'take over' your account here?) or change your computer settings just while you reset your password. I don't know how you would do this, but maybe someone else can help with that.

That may be (definitely is) something you need to talk about to the guy who supplied and set up your computer. Did you see my email to you about this?

Do it on the MacBook before you upload.

I drag them to the desktop from the camera or photo folder.
Double click and they should automatically open in the "Preview" application.
At the top of the screen choose the "Tools" menu. Choose "Adjust size..." and make it about 480 pixels wide. The other dimensions should change automatically.

Something like this

I first of all got a message from Lee's host ISP, saying that Wildfood wasn't available. With some odd php code as well, like Suelle. Then for quite a long time, I got the more usual 404 page not found message from my browser. Finally, about three quarters of an hour ago, more or less, the board came up again and it's now working perfectly.

I too couldn't get in earlier today but wasn't surprised as I was unable to log in on my laptop yesterday, it keeps saying I've logged in successfully but then returns to the log in screen. Any chance this could be sorted out? I've never had an access problem before.

I'm using my tablet at the moment. It was already logged in so I have no idea if I would be able to log back in if I logged out, not about to try either!

ETA. When I posted this message a page of strange text appeared before being replaced with my posted message. Sorry I didn't have time to read it. Seems like there are still problems with the site I guess or is it just me.

I think when everything got restored the database version and the board software got out of sync. I've upgraded the board to the latest version and it seems to have cleared any errors i was seeing.
