Ask the Mods (and the rest of the board) Mark2

Order yourself a latte, and a pastry (The virtual cinnamon buns are excellent today). And have a nice chat.

Yes that's intentional Suffs.

:D Yes - I was just pointing it out 'cos sometimes a duplicate post happens and the poster doesn't realise, then some time later tries to delete it and asks where the 'x' is :D

Well... From time to time we do try to remind people that they aren't chatting with friends in the privacy of the kitchen, but that everything we say is there for ever, in principle, and for anyone anywhere in the world to see.

While we're chatting about food and stuff, it's not likely to be a problem, but from time to time people do sometimes make uncomplimentary remarks about their bosses, or admit to skiving off work. On its own, it's not too serious, but if in other posts the same person makes it easy to work out where they work, or that they live alone..... That's why sometimes we ask people to take a little care.

You can either post it elsewhere (facebook or flickr, etc) and link to it using the IMG tags, or you can attach them directly if they are on your hard drive by clicking the "post reply" and "upload attachment" from there.

Using IMG tags is a bit easier as there are limits to the size of image you can upload directly to the board.

To use the IMG tag you have to post the location of the pic, than highlight it and click on IMG so you get the tahs bracketing the URL

like this

Paste link

http://www.7siusa.com/wp-content/upload ... rition.jpg

Put tags round it (like this without random spaces to make tags visible

[img ]http://www.7siusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/shrimp-nutrition.jpg[/ img]

End result

I have a question about smileys

On other boards running on phpBB smileys are inserted at the cursor, anywhere within the text block

On Woldfood wherever you postion the cursor the emoticon goes in at the end of the text block when you click on it

Any particular reason fro this? :?
