Your favourite photos 2

Order yourself a latte, and a pastry (The virtual cinnamon buns are excellent today). And have a nice chat.

What a lovely picture Hickey! You can catch badgers running round the streets here if you go out at crack of dawn on dustbin day. They raid all the sacks left out - I have never had a camera handy when I've seen them.

That 60 year old flamingo is not looking 60 years old! Go flamingo! :luv:

If I had to go out armed with a camera ahead of bin collection day to capture badgers I happily would, but not sure I would succeed. I think I'd be more likely to catch a fox round these parrrrrts, although haven't heard or seen one yet.

I love your flamingo. I have some flamingo pics, but they weren't doing anything very interesting :)

Avocet chick is very sweet too.

I don't think she lives at the station, but the ticket person called her into the office shortly after I took the photo, so maybe they feed her. She is clearly well looked after and very friendly. I have worried, when she's on the platform, that she might one day get onto a train :?

I’ve always though they look evil, we had one used to stand by the back door at work (on the riverbank) and look at you, affronted, when you came out. :scared:

I like herons (except when they raid people's fish ponds). I think they look very graceful.

Some of the sunflowers I agaonized about before holiday. I have some almost brown ones too. Took these on the last day we had nice light. The pictures seem to look better/clearer/more in focus if you click on them.
