...Have just bottled up my rowan gin and I must say I'm rather pleased with it. I usually make sloe gin but the sloe crop was non-existent this year so I thought I'd experiment. It's more astringent than sloe gin but it has a lovely flavour. It's an attractive, very pale, orangey-pink. I'd post a pic but I'm hopeless at posting pics on here (always says they're too big).
Anyhow, an experiment that has worked out rather well I think.
