Fennel liqueur .... uses for?

A Gardener's World member has asked me "..... could you consult with your foody friends about what to do with celery liqueur? Been sorting out a box of bottles and found it lurking - offered by a friend in Belgium. The only thing I can think of is a Bloody Mary but we don't drink those."

Any ideas please folks .... either food or drink

It sounds very MasterChef-fy - flavoured gels to garnish dishes and that sort of thing.

I wonder if a small quantity would be good in a seafood mousse.

I was thinking it might work in any dish that uses Pernod- type flavours

Yum that does sound good Seatallen ... and as she lives near the coast in the Vendee she does have access to good shellfish

I would imagine it could work well in a sorbet perhaps?

fennel or celery? i would imagine that they'd taste rather different. fennel liqueur i could imagine being used in a sweet dish but not so celery. if it's a celery liqueur could it be used in a tomato dish where sugar is often used to bring out the flavour of tomatoes - as tezza says a sorbet - tomato and celery liqueur sorbet - i think that could work as a summer starter.
