What variety(s) of strawberry?

I'm hoping to get a frame that will allow me to grow strawberries in 2 growbags (not got a suitable spot in the garden to plant any in the beds).

Does anyone have any suggestions as to good varieties please?

I should be able to answer this as planted about 10 varieties in a pyramid planter this summer. Alas pyramid planter was not a good idea. (Hard to water and feed.)

i don't think you can go wrong with 'cambridge favourite', and 'verity' was voted the best of the ones i bought at the supermarket this year (i keep a note of the varieties so i know which not to buy the next time), so i've saved some seed to see if i could get them to grow in the spring.

I did quite a lot of research before I bought mine. I can say that I was not keen on my Mara des Bois, but because they have a slightly floral flavour which I don't like - purely a matter of taste. They had plenty of flavour.

I am pretty sure I have som Cambridge ones.

Not sure whether to take them out of the pyramid or give them another year in there...
