It sounds like there might not be another series of the sewing bee. :shock:

I'd already heard a rumour from sewing friends, but have now seen this article.

I'll be sad if they don't do another series. It's about as far as I can stand down the reality TV route, because although it has my most hated long pauses for judges decisions, it is at least friendly rather than uber competitive.

I think it's really quite sad, I enjoyed the sewing bee and love the pottery throw down. Whilst neither have the same huge audience of GBBO I enjoy the gentle tone of both of them.
