She is legend. And so glamorous in an under stated way. New balls!
I got so caught up in the Wimbledon theme I forgot to keep checks on the food! At Wimbledon all you need is strawberries and cream and if lucky a glass of champers.
Must try to pay more attention to the next episode.

Probably Friday EM. Although not sure. So if anyone else can confirm? I will try my TV guide in the meantime.

I think Tezza is correct - the 4 banquet dishes are chosen Monday-Thursday, and the banquet itself shown on Friday's programme.

Oh drat, I'll miss Thursday & Friday will have to remember to catch up next week! I do wish we could taste the food, sometimes it looks :sprout: and the judges go into raptures - and vice versa!

I loved tonight's episode. Got me very excited about Wimbledon. So nice to see Judy Murray looking focused on tennis and her boys but also the food. And seeing Tim Henman as part of the party. The peaches looked delicious! My mouth was watering. I love the new female judge (Andi??) she is so full of energy and enthusiasm and very so interesting to listen to. Very knowledgeable.

I'm so glad Selin got a dish in the final - I'd love to try her food!

Agree, I've bought her book, Oklava. Looks good.
Restaurant is not far from here, but looks quite pricey, except I suspect some of the mire expensive starters would be shared as mains are reasonable

Selin was a champ and I thought they all did well.

As I type I can hear the players practicing. The streets are clean, flower baskets abound and the atmosphere is building. It will be a busy couple of weeks here but the buzz is always superb. Time to get some strawberries and Pimm's I think. I'm sure you agree Catherine..... and boys are gone (again!) and I have garden plans I need help with Miss Green Fingers. ;)

I would have liked to try the tongue dish. A sadly neglected meat IMHO. But the pud looked fab too.

I agree about the tongue PP. One of the meals I dream about and wish I could have again, was a barley risotto with crispy ox tongue, which I had at Tom Kitchins restaurant in Edinburgh. It was delicious!

I watched last nights final banquet with my 9 yr old Nephew. I had to tell him who I knew and who I didn't. I enjoyed it mainly because I knew a lot of the people there. I thought the sauce on the fish course made it look like he had poured paint over it. The tongue dish looked stunning

I didn't recognise Jo Durie until they said.
