last and this week's programmes have been very interesting. they were about the gut microbiome of the hadza tribe, in northern tanzania. a tribe with 40% more varieties of gut bacteria than those on a western diet. they are hunter gatherers who have none of the diseases associated with 'first world'.
the programmes, if you missed them, are well worth listening to.
