Going Ape

Postby PatsyMFagan » December 6th, 2017, 3:42 pm

Has anyone else found this series on Quest Red? About 10 years old but new to me: It's all about the Yaoundé Wildlife Centre and reserve in Cameroon where baby chimps and gorillas who have seen their parents killed by hunters for bush meat are rescued and healed. The young are either left to die, or sold illegally as pets. It's hard not to put human attributes to these animals, but they really do react as human babies would ... :( :(

I often forget that Quest have some good shows and have missed this. I shall look out for it, thanks.
