Crown Court

Postby TeresaFoodie » December 7th, 2017, 3:07 pm

This is coming back to our screens after an absence of more than 30 years.

This has more than made up for the sad news recently that the BBC have axed their main evening Crimewatch.

Really looking forward to this! :bounce: It was a massive favourite in our household when I was a kid, and as the report says, usually when I was off sick from school!

Did anyone watch this? I did and loved the format with Robert Rinder introducing each section, but, and it's a major BUT, this should have been an hour long not half an hour. By the time we get to next time I would have forgotten what happened this time.

Just finishing my 5th week of Jury Service. Absolutely in no hurry to watch this.

I did think of you PP after I started this thread and wondered if that would be the case! Pardon the unintentional pun...

My grandma used to watch it. I'm afraid it was one of those things I found excruciatingly dull as a child. Almost as groan-inducing as Grandstand (but not quite.)

A little Guilty Pleasure when holed up on the sofa and under the weather is a bit of Judge Judy  ... the legal logic of the woman is unswerving ... but we do glimpse a humane side too from time to time.

Well, that was interesting, although personally I thought it was going to go the other way.
