Eat the week (with Iceland)

Postby PatsyMFagan » April 29th, 2018, 11:22 am

I know some of you will throw your hands up in horror ... but I found this programme on Ch 4 last week, presented by chef Simon Rimmer. A brilliant stroke of marketing - the clue is in the title. However, some great innovative recipes and giving real inspiration to those who need ideas for the week without the sponsor being in your face. This morning's programme featured a cake made from butternut squash and dates :tu: :hungry: :chops:

I watched a few of those when they had it on before/previous series. Mostly because one of the mums from my boys school was on it! Cakes sounds interesting. Will have to watch that one!

I caught this for the first time this morning. At first thought it a bit odd with the Iceland bit thrown in, but it didn't get in the way of my enjoyment of the recipes and Simon. I could imagine some people may be put off watching it because of the title though. I'll watch again.
Imagine peace
