Inside The Factory

I’ve never really watched this before, tonight it was all about sauces but primarily mayonnaise.

Greg Wallace was his usual OTT self but I was very taken by the history bit.........Ruth Goodman did a great bit about the 1960’s and the explosion of mayonnaise salads. I seem to remember we have talked about this before, the mayonnaise party loaf was a sight to see! :?

Some of the salads looked surprisingly good, whilst others would have had you retching on sight.

I think that's a re-run, I've seen it, it was good

Gregg is a bit OTT but the people on the production line seem to enjoy someone celebrating their jobs!

I started to watch it then realised I'd seen it before. I hadn't spotted the R in the TV guide. A good first time watch though!

Evening all! I just noticed that a new series of Inside the Factory has started. It's on Tuesdays, but having missed last week's the repeat is on tomorrow on BBC2 at 7. An instant coffee factory - should be fascinating!

I saw the coffee one. The workers do seem to get on with Greg and appreciate his interest.

However the whole thing just made me understand why instant coffee never comes into this house.

I watched the programme, because of the secret processes we never learnt how they inserted the aroma
