I knew “Carol” looked familiar, took me a while to get Carol Decker. Keith Allen I did get.

What ... no one recognised Monty Panasar, Jay Blades or Anita Harris ???

Never heard of Jay Blades, and although I have heard of Monty Panesar I do not know his face.
I am utterly useless at "celebrities"

Jay Blades is the furniture restorer on The Repair Shop ... if you've not seen this programme you're missing a treasure ... it's delightful ... currently after Eggheads on weeknight evenings. He's been on some other programmes too ... seems a really lovely chap.

I have been watching The Repair Shop too. A very enjoyable bridge between afternoon quizzes and the rest of the evening when not in the mood for depressing early evening news.

Tonight's MC was one of the funniest yet. The team work through a wall was hysterical. I probably need to get out more! But tall man and gorgeous eyes were like a double act. That Scotch Egg! Not noticing that the piccallili needed cooking until the last minute! I didn't think that round would work, but it did.

Anita Harris. A name I've grown up with. Isn't she gorgeous still? I really didn't know the other three but did enjoy watching them all this week. Two good strong characters made it through to the semis so that should be good TV.
