I didn't watch it being tired of watching shouty chefs "licking young chefs into shape"

Though to be fair, that's not necessarily what you expect of Jason Atherton - he's hardly Rambo

Is it good?

I watched epi 2. All rather cruel I thought. You are cooks, not volunteer medical staff in a war zone.

We watched the first episode and the third, forgot to record the second.

Part of it is harsh, heightend to make ‘good’ TV. However, found the cooking part of it fascinating, particularly the traditions of a particular area. If it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t watch it. A better title would be, 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.'
Every day is a good day, it's just that some days are better than others.
