Celebrity Masterchef is back

Postby liketocook » August 31st, 2019, 8:12 pm

Autumn must be here as this kIcks off this Monday, for once I recognise more of the contestants than I don't ;) .
I will watch it, always good for a laugh and some end up quite decent cooks.

Looking forward to this as ever. Not seen the contestants list yet. It will be a miracle if I know more than one!

It is a miracle because I recognise more than half! If not by face then by name. I think some of the characters could be hilarious and it will also be quite interesting seeing them in a normal household setting of a kitchen.

I recognise some by face and some by name ... but none of them have both a face and a name that I recognise ... I wonder what that says about me :?

I recognise some but a few are connected to popular programmes I've never watched and I'm not very up on sports people. If only they'd get rid of John Torode I'd watch it.

Oh no EM I like John Torode -I realise I'm probably a bit of a minority on that one  .
Like other I recognise some names, some faces and a small number of both. I enjoyed last night, nice easy TV for a cold & rainy evening

Naw he adds a certain something, I think they make a good pair......
Saw him & John years ago at a Good Food show and came away afterwards liking both of them much more than I had previously. Greg was more than a match for a couple of obviously very drunk "Glasgow" hecklers and gave as good as he got, it was so funny and they shut up quite quickly having met their match

I was aware of 4 of them.
For me to have heard of 80% of a bunch of "celebrities" is a miracle.

I would recognise 8 of them, and I've heard of another 3.

I was just getting to really like Zandra Rhodes... What a lovely character. And I read that before she started filming she lost her long time partner. Love her style and attitude.

Neil deserved to go through but will he manage to pull some finesse out of the bag from anywhere? Them's man portions!
