Salvage Hunters : The Restorers

Postby PatsyMFagan » January 31st, 2020, 9:31 am

Is anyone else hooked on this ? (On Freeview channel 12 about 7 am.) Drew Pritchard is the salvage hunter and now you see how his restorers bring apparently worthless stuff back to a highly sellable condition. This morning, a sculptor restored a work by Auguste Sain, a gilder brought back an over-mantel mirror to it's former glory and
a 'Mr Fixit' worked on an old American slot machine that was totally rusted up. He started off by sitting the metal workings in a bath of diesel .. whoever knew ;) :o :tu:

I’ve not seen it, but I just did a search and as it’s on Quest TV there are loads of repeats, including at 4 in the afternoon, so might have a peep

I see we are on series 14 :o

There's not many morning when I am NOT awake at 7 am , in fact since yesterday and until Monday, I will awake at 4.45 doing the taxi run to get daughter to Uxbridge Bus station for her bus to work ...

Yes, Salvage Hunters has been airing for some time, but if the Restorers has been around that long too, then it has completely gone over my head
