Prawn Tom Yam (a meal in a bowl)
Ingredients:
Prawns 60 cals per 100 g: 100 g/ 60 cals
Chinese fine wheat noodles 384 cals 100 g: 25 g / 96 cals
Courgettes 18 per 100 g: 100 g / 18 cals
Celery 14 cals per 100 g: 100 g / 14 cals
Mange tout 32 cals per 100 g: 100 g / 32 cals
Tom yam paste 200 cals per 100 g: 25 g / 50 cals
Fish sauce 34 cals per 100 g: about 25 g / 8 cals
Garlic, chilli, galangal, Thai basil: maybe 5 cals
Lime Juice: a god squeeze, maybe 5 cals
Total: 288 cals
Method:
Blanch noodles
Dissolve paste & sauce in boiling water add garlic & galangal (all sliced) and simmer
Add shredded veg, and cook lightly, add prawns and noodles; when fully hot add lime juice, sliced chilli and Thai basil & serve.
