Good morning, all.
Ill fait tres beau, ce matin.
The sun is shining and the temperature, according to the beeb will be 25°c - this may be a conservative estimate as I think yesterday's prediction fell short of the actual temperature yet again - I'm not complaining.
The visit to les halles was a bit of a disappointment but, on the contrary, an early evening walk down the nearest side road, on our way to find the museum, bought us to a, possibly, Arabic area where there were shops full of fruit and veg at far better prices than either the markets or supermarkets that we've been to and closer to UK prices. For example, bananas €2.50 ish per kilo in the 'upper' part, €0.90 per kilo down the road.
We'll be heading that way again in a bit to go to the museum during opening time.
Have a grand day, everyone.
Ps all is back to normal re monsieur 'bonsoir '.
