world chocolate day

Order yourself a latte, and a pastry (The virtual cinnamon buns are excellent today). And have a nice chat.

it's today.
you can do your bit to support it without guilt.

(unless, like tezza, you're not fussed).

My friend who visited this morning brought me a big box of Maltesers which is one of my favourites.

I have not had any chocolate in just over three weeks I am not sure how much longer I can go

It feels too hot for chocolate, but I diligently forced some down, in the name of World Chocolate Day!

Yeah, I gave it a miss. Funny but, although everyone knows I am not fussed about chocolate, I always get given at least one box for my birthday and Christmas. :?

Another one who is not fussed, I prefer to say restrained, here, especially if we are talking the rubbish stuff which seems to pass for choclate these days. Sorry CJ but that includes Maltezers, Mars bars, etc etc.

I did my bit after lunch as usual, with one square of 70% ( today with chilli ) with my coffee. The Hotel Chocolate box I got for Valentine's Day lasted me for nearly 2 months. I love it but I can't eat more than one at a time.

I'm partial to Green and Black's dark with ginger and I buy a bar about one a month and it lasts me for about a week.

Cheers

I never ate chocolate before I gave up wine...

I've not had much in the last three weeks or so either. I did have half a Ritter bar in Germany (well I had to - they have all those interesting flavours) and some white chocolate this week but that's it since about the 25th, in spite of husband bringing me a huge bar of Milka peanut and caramel last weekend. Where's the angel emoticon when you need it?!
