Saturday Mail tv guide

Postby PatsyMFagan » August 2nd, 2018, 12:28 pm

I know having the (Daily/Weekend) Mail will be anathema to most of you on this forum, but I really enjoy my Saturday dose of their tv guide with the various puzzles included. I couldn't get hold of my usual fix last Saturday, but really want to know if anyone else has the tv guide and can let me know the Codeword answers (from the previous week) as I had come unusually unstuck.

thanks

I will now get my coat and :duck: :duck: :duck:

Patsy ... if no one else can help let me know ... I'll contact MIL ... she loves their puzzles so I'm sure she'll have the answers. :D

Patsy, some friends of ours get the Mail on Saturday purely for the TV pages - cheaper than Radio Times - the rest of the paper goes in the rubbish bin to be recycled. They're away at the moment.
Every day is a good day, it's just that some days are better than others.

Sorry, Patsy, but mine goes in the bin after the weekend.

Oh dear ... MIL sends her apologies Patsy ... yesterday was her recycling Bin Day and she was unusually well-organised and the magazine went out with the rest of the recycling :( Otherwise she'd have happily put it in the post for you.

But, she says isn't it available online? She thinks her friends sometimes look up the answers online ... either on the Daily Mail website or by putting Daily Mail Codeword solution and the date into Google.

When Mum's eyesight was better she bought the Mail on a Saturday because she found the TV pages easier to read.

And it seems others had exactly the same problem as I did …. I thought the first word was RECEDED ….however it was SECEDED … never heard of it, so would never have used an S rather than an R for the first letter !!!
