Sorbet

Rats mention of her cucumber and mint sorbet got me thinking...what is your favourite savoury sorbet?

Mine is the one we had on holiday in northern France this year. Basil and ?? sorbet. We had a bit of trouble with translation, but the waiter thought it was basil and possibly aniseed. I’m wondering if it was basil and fennel? Whatever it was, it was delicious. :D

We had a very nice Maiboule (Woodruff) sorbet in Austria a year or so ago. Ideal as a short course between the main course and the cheese!
